• Why have you called your e-zine the corner, isn't that quite a strange title?

• Several reasons really, all women have edges, and edges are corners. Our very own Linda Peregory has written a poem about it. Women meet and chat in and outside of corner shops. Street corners have always attracted gossip and general chatting. Women are often abused near or on corners. Prostitutes often frequent corners Also a corner is the only place you can look both ways.

• So this is an e-zine about women, can men be members or are they excluded?

• We exclude no one here although many of the issues raised in our e-zine are aimed at women, remember that the abuser is often a man, a relative, or a family friend.

• Most men will never admit to reading a woman's magazine, but over 90%, given the opportunity will. Our articles are intended for everyone who wishes to read them.

• So your e-zine is all about abuse?

• Certainly not, its a general interest women's e-zine, it just happens that our team have all come from and through many abusive situations. Including our male colleagues. Read all of our profiles. and we intend offering help and guidance to anyone.

• Is it going to always be free?

• Ouch! that was below the belt, we may at some stage create a private and free VIP members areas, but our aim is to provide a free service and a free women's e-zine

• If I submitted something say to your Agony Uncle won't everyone know who I am?

• No because anything we publish will never have references within it that can directly identify you. See our Agony Uncle Guidelines in our Legal Policies Area. We are a responsible caring team of professional individuals dedicated to helping others, see also our Profiles read our stories.

• What if I'm a gay woman, a lesbian, are these issues excluded?

• Most certainly not we stand in judgment of no-one, except an abuser. Our e-zine is for all women, from all walks of life throughout the world, this is just as much your e-zine, so Submit your articles or short stories, they will be welcome.

• If I'm being abused in any way, can I get help from you?

• Yes my friend you can, we are here to offer both practical and moral support every step of the way. However we will always encourage you to get medical help from a GP close to your hometown. Law enforcement officers in every country are very highly skilled in dealing with cases of abuse of any description so do inform them of your abuse.

• Do you sell my e-mail address on to make a profit?

• Never, your e-mail address is safe with us we will never sell or give away any ones e-mail address to a third party. We use your e-mail to let you know of updates, or send you a newsletter, or offers we may have, and to contact you about articles you may have submitted see also our Legal Policies

• I'm a woman who loves gardening will you be having anything in your e-zine for my interest.

• If we don't already cover your desired interest, then do feel free to suggest it. We will always be looking to create a very diverse and broad base for our readership. After all it is as much your e-zine as it is ours, we rely on your input 24/7 on any subject that may interest other women.

On the 1st of every month we will be producing our very own free e-zine, especially for YOU, covering all aspects of female issues, including Health & Fitness tips, Beauty tips and Recipes, plus much more. Be in there from the start, our first issue will be released on 1st February 2006.
